No breaks today
I went to go for a rip today and I find that I have almost no breaks. The pedal feels normal and the truck will still stop if I stand on it hard enough but it seems like there is no vacuum assist. I can also hear a loud hissing sound when I step on the breaks.
Does this sound like the booster went bad to you guys?

Re: No breaks today
Check out the rubber grommet behind the booster. It holds a nylon 90* fitting and connects to a 3/8'' hose that picks up vacuum from either the intake manifold or the carburetor.
An air leak from any of these soft components will give that gripe. Rule out all these items before you shell out for a new brake booster.
