64 GMC on 86 Blazer running gear
Hello everyone, I been checking out this site for many years and seen lots of nice , cool and awesome ideas. Great work guys keep it up and save more old cars and trucks. Well now i am starting to build a 64 GMC on 86 Blazer running gear. I will try to keep you up to date with pics and info on my build.

Here is my 64 GMC. I paid $1000. for this old truck and going to try to do a budget build.

I had to replace part of the drivers side rocker . I have about 8 hours in today so far but getting lots done.

This was one very long day. Its close to 18 hours that i worked on this truck today . Time to go shower, eat, sleep and do it all again tomorrow . Oh and yes here is the cab floor finished.

Awesome work on the rocker,the floor turned out great.
That cab floor is in amazing condition !!! Had there been previous work done ?,or is that all original ? Looking Good. Trent BTW,welcome to the addiction from the other side of AB

Yes it is going really fast but trust me not much sleep. lol. I did a build with Rich Evans last year on a 89 mustang and we did it in 5 days. So now i know that if you work lots of hours you do get things done very quick. The thing is i am doing most of it by myself and the odd time a friend stops by. As for the truck i have a 6 inch lift on its way and going with 35 inch BF good rich tires. Where the body is on a blazer frame i am going to shorten the box. It is going to be a driver and maybe some car shows just for fun. I will try to keep the pics coming on this build but it may slow some due to work and family stuff.

I am in Red Deer Alberta and looking for short bed fleet sides. Long or short as long as they are in good shape. If anyone in Alberta has some or knows where some are thats close by and cheap that be great. Just PM me a name and phone number and we can go from there Thanks Ron

The guy at Scotts Super Truck in Penhold has a few in his back lot.
He also deals in patch panels and the like if there's a possiblity of repairing yours. The chassis turned out great. Whatcha doin' next tues/wed....LOL j/k T

Today i had a few extra hands to help out in the garage. We got the transmission and transfer case checked , cleaned , new seals and painted.
