Re: Love that new member smell!

New to site and first post. I looked at pictures and projects for 3 hours last night and back again. I am an old Chevy guy from Bama. I love
pretty trucks and good music. Becker and Fagen were two members of Steely Dan, one of my favorite classic rock groups..beside the point. I love the 68-72 trucks. I've been living in sin driving a foreign truck I totalled 3 weeks ago. ha. I saw a 72 short bed , red, fell in love the first time I kicked in that Edelbrock on the 350 and bought it . I know there are a lot of purists on here whose trucks I love- just righteous frame-up restoration of pure Chevy trucks-I love them! Mine has an SMC stepside conversion, but cab-forward is pure Chevy. If you guys will have me, I'd be right proud to kinda join in. I once was a shade-tree- mechanic, we owned a 39 Chevy, rebuilt some motors,54 Chevy, 57 Chevy,(sold em too cheap) dealt a lot in Bondo and Pink Passion filler. I see you guys doing it right frame up...I'm not worthy but I'd like to learn because you guys got the best of taste in trucks...and I mean it!
