OT -- Help Finding Parts

Hey guys! Sorry for posting this in General Disccussion, but I figured that it wasn't year specific, and was the best way to avoid cross posting.

I'm down to the last couple parts for my TPI swap onto my 80 GMC, and I was wondering if anyone has seen a TPI car in the wrecking yard anywhere, that would be willing to grab me some parts from it.

What I need is the following -- I priced it out for all new sensors, and the bill came out to nearly 300 bucks, so I'm gonna have to depend on someone finding a TPI car in the wrecking yard. These can come from either a 305 or 350 of any year, they are the same sensors for both vehicles, unless I state a year range, then it matters.

Manifold Air Temperature Sensor -- Located underneith the upper plenum (intake) It screws in, and has a two pin connector

Oil Pressure Switch -- Screws into the block behind where the lower intake is bolted to the heads, where a oil pressure sending unit is found. It'll have an arm that comes out, with two branches, one going to the sending unit for the gauge, one going to the oil pressure switch.

Knock Sensor from an 86-88 350 TPI car -- Located on the side of the engine block between the freeze plugs in one of the drain plug holes.

EGR Temperature Switch -- Located on the EGR unit which is on top of the lower intake under the upper intake. It has its own wire that connects to the harness.

All of these are things that you can unscrew with the proper sized wrench or gently with a cresant wrench (extra caution should be taken when working with the knock sensor, it is a very delicate peice of equipment), I'd need the pig tail from the EGR temperature switch, but nothing else, so please don't get wirecutter happy on it...

If someone on here is able to get me these last few parts, the only thing left for me to buy is a couple of gaskets, a bigger alternator, some fuel lines and a fuel filter.

$300 for that stuff?! someone is gouging you big time! I dont suggest using junkyard sensors as you have no way of telling if they are any good & things like that are non-returnable. we buy parts like that from AC Delco or NAPA & off the top of my head I figure about $100 for everything. avoid the dealer like the plague.

Who knows Liz :P

68C15 -- This is Canada, they gouge us for everything up here.

Here is the price list I got from NAPA just the other day:

02 Sensor (gotten one since) -- 44.88 + 7% GST (seen on ebay for 15 dollars buy it now US, made by bosch)
Manifold Air Temperature Sensor -- 37.77 + 7% GST
86-88 350 Knock Sensor -- 65.99 + 7% GST
Fan Override Switch -- 22.05 + 7% GST
Oil Pressure Switch -- 34.88 + 7% GST (seen on ebay for 12 dollars buy it now US, unknown brandname though)
EGR Temperature Switch -- 52.99 + 7% GST

Grand total without tax -- 258.56
Grand total with tax -- 276.66

Too expensive to buy new stuff locally, so I gotta go into the states to find stuff, none of my local yards have any sort of TPI in them.

A lot of times you can find a whole TPI set up on Ebay for $300. Buy one with the sensors, pull them out and resell the rest. It may be worth a shot.

Shaddup Brian, lol

I'd go ahead and buy another setup on ebay, and sell it again, but I don't have a selling account on ebay

Anyone down there in the states wanna check listings at their local Napa? If its really that much cheaper for brand new sensors down there, I'd pay you gas money to get them, refund the amount they cost, and pay shipping up to my place...

86 Trans Am, Camaro, Corvette, or GTA with a 350, for all the parts... Oh yeah, they'll probally wanna know that it isn't 4x4, and it is rear wheel drive :p

PS -- I found an oil pressure switch, so I only need the following:

Manifold Air Temperature Sensor
86-88 350 Knock Sensor
Fan Override Switch
EGR Temperature Switch
