can i put front disc brakes off a 79' on a 63' ?

Im pretty sure they will go,but havent played with thar style truck. You will have some diffs in steering linkage,& nedd a kit to install power steering. Try this site for tech articles & parts. http://www.classicperform.com/

pretty sure that can only be done on 64-up, but maybe can on 63-up, its one or the other, forgot if 63 or 64, if the truck has the IFS type frame like all the 67-72 frames, then yes.

Early 60s trucks had diff suspension,But im pretty sure 62 was the last year for that suspension.

i agrtee with 62, 64 was first for the 12 bolt(bleeding on keyboard again,hmm)
