Thumbs up Cobalt SS

Well, one of my friends picked up a Colbalt SS the other day. Its reportedly only one of 8 in the province. He is in town for the weekend and took me for a ride. All I can say is damn. If I didn't have other things that I plan on investing in (new garage, paint job for the truck), I would own one of these things. Just an all around stunning car.....looks awesome, handles nice, sound system is great for factory. Oohh....and the power. Thats the first fast compact style car I have been in. The damn thing just pulls, and the gearing is pretty good too. He ran it up to 120 km/h in third gear before grabbing 4th.....just nuts.

Just felt the need to ramble because that car is fricken sweet. If any of you have the money or desire to own one......DO IT!

When I rented the 05 mustang for my trip to chicago, I let one of the guys at work take it around the block and he loved it. When i told him that the one I had was at about 21,000 to 22,500, he got all ticked off saying his wife coulda bought the mustang instead of the cobalt for the same $$.
However, there is no room in back at all in the stang...be it for kids feet or making out...there is absolutly no room back there.

The thing that amazed me, is even with ME driving, haulin @ss all over, but mostly highway with the cruise set at 80 - 85 (and a few bursts to 100) I still managed a trip average of 23 MPG. One tank of fuel fron Columbus Ohio to Chicago Ill. Not too shabby IMO. (the v 6 stang is rated 19 city 25 hwy)

And I never did get pulled over.
