What kind of rims are these? Who makes them and where could I get a set? Do any of you have any more pictures of trucks with these rims.

They are refered to as slots... old school, you can find them from time to time on here, I'm sure on e-bay all the time, and in just about every bolt pattern, and in 14, 15 and 16.5 inch. They can also be purchased new again with the rekindled interest in the old school look.

American racing makes new ones, but from what I have read (and can see in the pic on their website) they have a really shallow dish to the wheel, meaning the center is not set in very far in the rim. If you want a set that looks truly like a wheel right out of 1969, you will have to buy used. I wanted a specific appearing set and ended up buying my set off a board member who purchased a truck from another board member from Vega$. Slots were made by lots of companies in lots of similar but not exact styles, and getting 4 matching ones can sometimes be a bit of a pain. Well worth it IMO.

I guess the dish would depend on the width of the wheel.They should be no different than another wheel with the same offset.RWD offsets are pretty standard except on custom ordered wheels.I had American Racing slots back in the day.I`m sure these would be the same.In fact.another name for these was "dish"mags.

Hey, I just bought my new project truck and I have some wheels on it all the way around that look like that. Dont know how old or what brand since they came with the truck. Im Planning on getting different wheels anyway so you may be able to work a deal with me if you want them. They look rough but ill bet theyll clean up nice. Ill attach some pics.

Man do these trucks look good with old school slots on em! I've been keeping my eyes open lately for a nice set for the summer tires on my pickup.

Man my truck isn't even done yet and I think I have found the wheels I'm putting on it. This is exactly what I was wanting, I am going for a sort of "Old Custom" look on the outside of my truck, I think I might go with some of these slots in either 15 or 16" those things look sweet on these trucks!
