I assume he needed new wheels for his skinnies after this landing. That's also a nice little gap he made in the front fender.

Yea and a new oil pan too, dont think the crossmember or A arms looked too good after that either lol. Im pretty sure he lost that race smirch9. And as far as I know the pics are 100% real...I didnt take them myself but the guy who posted them claims they are real. If its a photoshop its one hell of a good one.

I'm sure they are real. It's not that uncommon to see those guys go back on their bars. My gues is the guy didn't get back on it after he came down, I'll bet he never lifted....

i am going to say that in that frist vid , the guy panniced<sp? and lifted on the skinny peddal too much and caused the car to slam that hard ,i am sure he had all kinds of damage to the car ,if he would have just lifted on the skinny peddel "alittle" it would have been a killer wheelie down the track

the cars in the second vid look to me to be built to do wheels , the whellie bars were set up way to high on sum of them

they (both ) vids are way cool though

That Gremlin was awesome. Yeah, some were meant for wheelies. Like the Monte that didn't even have a rear bumper. Most didn't have wheelie bars at all.

I watched the Lee Brothers 69 Hemi Cuda do a wheelie like that about 10 or so years ago and they were fixing the oil pan right after it. Awsome to watch but really hard on parts. Sure makes the crowd cheer when they get up like that.
