Nice Rides

Went up to EdB's to see his latest acquistion project, 57 Belair. Then a friend of his drove up in his 59 Vette. NICE!!!! To me the 59/60 are only years of a vette to have. This one is running a 550 Hp smallblock. Man it sounded sooooo sweet. It's nice to hear a real cam!!! The owner is the guy in the center without the hat. Krazy_texan and EdB are on the sidelines.

Re: Nice Rides

I comitted to do an intake change-out on a 98 Crown Vic tonight.
It will be finished tonight. Tomorrow I plan to unload the chevy and start
pulling it down to see what I have. It went under water during Katrina.
It appears to have been fresh water.

A friend got the 55. The block was full of water but very little corrosion.

I have first dibs on a 67 camero big block convertable.

It looks like we got lucky. We found them by accident. The guy
we got them from had 41 antique cars and they all went under water.
The insurance company settled on the completed ones: several
vetts and some street rods. After they were hauled off, they called
him and stated that if he wanted them back, He would have to pay
70% of appraised value before the hurricane. I guess some insurance
agents are real happy.
