Skid Tests
I haven,t been on this board forever but I know you guys and girls are the smartest around.Where can I look up information on skid tests. My son was involved in a truck accident and I,d like to know if I can calculate the approximate speed of him travelling or at least what it would take to stop the truck in the best conditions.

Re: Skid Tests
Tell me or pm me the measured skid and I will give you a minimum speed. Also, what kind of surface and what were the conditions. Asphalt? Dry? Wet? Loose Gravel?

That would be 78mph as a minimum.

Sure, what is the formula?Wouldn,t a consumer report site have stopping distances listed for vehicles?I know some have crash test results.
