Have any of you guys tried equal to balance your big meats? I'm always losing weights off of my 35"s and I heard this stuff might be pretty good. Any thoughts?

I have a friend that has a set of 35x12.50x16.5 BFG mudders that have equal in them. Has helped the tires to last around 60,000 miles on a 81 k30 chevy. another friend has equal in 35x12.50x15 BFG AT's they have run in the 60,000 mile range on a 86 K5 with a diesel in it. I am going to run equal in my 35's when I get the k20 burb finished

i had equal put in my 35 boggers and it was horrible, i know the tires are hard to balance but i mad em do it the old way and it was much better. Might be better on the tires like a mt.

Never had a problem with my tires or the weights coming off. My rims have a good edge for the weights to bite onto. Never heard of the equal stuff.

My buddy tried it in his 35x14.50x16 Swamper SSR's and didn't like them. He went back to weights. Swampers seems to be harder to balance so that may be the problem

we tried the equal thing in semi truck steer tires once, we found that if you don't use dry air, the powder has a tendency to stick together and turn into a big glob, totally defeating the purpose....

believe it or not, golf balls were the best thing we found to balance truck tires...just drop 3 or 4 in there and they will balance out the tire with centrifugal force.

I have equal in my 265 x 75 x 16 on my 92 burb also. i have no problems. I put a in line water filter(like you see on paint guns) on my air chuck that takes any moisture out of the air i put in my tires.

The trick to get this to work is keeping it dry. I wont work if moisture is present.
