Pricing is better @ some places vs. buying them directly through ART (especially when your friendly w/a dealer). I feel they're worth the investment for strength, aesthetics, & they eliminate the need for lower cups that are required on 'some' installations. Check out the suspension forum. One board member is having issues w/the location of the lower a-arm shock mount. It might be a good idea to modify this if you plan on going really low.

Still haven't figured out any reason to use tubular A-arms on our trucks.

Re: New Tubular A Arms from Air Ride Tech.....
I have em. And I have mixed feelings about em.
Im using the lowers with stock uppers, and being bagged, they do help the camber of the wheel, but Push the wheel out a slight bit. They are an awesome product, built beautifully for sure, they have an awesome ride since its more of a canti-setup rather then straight up and down lift that stock arms and cups give. But without cups, it also equates to less lift. Anyways, if I had to do it again, id prolly get some 1" Cups and tack weld them to some stock lower arms and call it a day. But they are no doubt an awesome product, just very pricey.

They have better geometry for a lowered suspension engineered into the design. Stock arms were designed for stock heights. They have tubular construction for more strength & better aestetics vs. generic stamped steel pieces.

IF they are a cantilever set-up they should give more lift, should they not? how can they effect the ride really? They do have much improved geometry for a lower ride height than a stock arm(s). As with all of ARTs products they are awesome, but pricey. If you want something that will bolt on and work like it is supposed to you cant go wrong with ART though. ![]() You simply stated you had yet to figure out any 'reason' for using tubular arms on our trucks & I provided you w/two good ones. There's nothing 'wrong' w/the stock arms. It's just the ART arms are an improvement like adding disc brakes to a truck that came w/drums. Drum brakes worked for years right?

Re: New Tubular A Arms from Air Ride Tech.....
I am presently looking at the setup from CPP. There was an article in the Truckin Mag about them and they are just what I was looking for.
