Wanted--69-72 body mouldings.

In need of upper and lower 69-72 body mouldings for LB. Black and chrome--not wood grained. Need to be straight--good shape. OK if black faded or scratched. Thanks, Matt

HOGROCKET, I don't know if this will help. Bar with me?? Have you tried that Truck Junk yard over there by 32 street Naval base. NOT THE ONE BY THE HIGHWAY OFF OF 5. It is between downtown and the base. It might even be considered National City. I think it is called A&B TRUCK RECYCLING. It has been awhile. You take 5 south like your heading to the Coronodo Bridge and you pass the bridge but you get off on that exit that goes to 32nd street. You get off the highway going toward the base and then you turn right at the Del Taco across from the Mc Donalds. You follow the road down and you come to a Churches chicken. You turn left at the Churches chicken. There is also an Military embroidury shop in this same center as Churches Chicken. Across the street from the chicken place is another Junk yard but it has nothing for you. They can give you better directions to where I am talking about. Anyway, Turn left like I said and follow the road thru the residential area and you will come to the trolley tracks. Turn left again and you will see all kind of recycling places and you will eventually find this truck place about two blocks down . It has Chevy/GMC and older stuff everywhere. Just ask the guy to walk around and look at the trucks. Worse case senerio, Lets hook up next time I am down there and I will take you myself. I apoligise for the confusing directions. I hope you really find this place. It is a gold mine. There is nothing out in OTAY Mesa Junk yard, they suck when it comes to our trucks. I invite you to PM me and we can hook up in the future and go there. I normaly do not tell people of this place. Good luck!!! There is a yard out here called Countyline that has some trim as well. That would be a drive for ya.

Longhorn--Thanks for the info. Actually, I have been to the place your speaking of a few times. It is called A&B and they are located on Commercial Ave, in National City. Needless to say, they don't have any trim pieces. All the places in Otay Mesa, including the pick-a parts are pretty much cleaned out also. I'll just keep looking-. M

Have you called the wrecking yards out in El centro? There are a few. I will keep my eyes open out here. There are lots of cab and fender pieces out here but I will have to check for Lwb.

Billy--I haven't checked out in El Centro, but it seems that most of the junk yard trcuk body' are in pretty bad shape, especially the moulding. Thanks for looking out.

Dano, let me know what you have and what kind of shape. I actually have the full set, but they're twisted, dented, bent, etc and since I just painted the truck I figured it deserved something better. Your not too far from me and I'm down in Riverside often. PM me when you get a chance and let me know. Matt

I have a complete set of the 20pcs. black or woodgrain lowers, not perfect, but nice. $200 + exact shipping cost. If interested, let me know and I'll send pics. I won't be able to get them out of the storage trailer until next week.
