Re: which one sounds best?
You know the name "Joe Dirt" is most undoubtedly secured by another business. If not by a movie company. Be careful not to infringe on someone that has a better lawyer.

Re: which one sounds best?
I picked the 3rd one also. The first one sounds like a raceing team name. Maybe if it is for a parts store you could throw past at the end. Joe Dirt Racing & Performace Parts.

Re: which one sounds best?
even if another business is using the name, its not a problem, unless theres a copyright on it. When you set up your business fictisious name you can find this out.
When I started my business I wanted to call it Service First. I found out some business in the airline industry has that name. So nits actual legal name is Service First of St.Louis LLC D/B/A Service First. So, everyone knows me as Service First, but it has another legal name. YOu may be able to do simialer. Something like, Joes Garage D/B/A JoeDirt Performance & Racing
