Worn out springs?
How can you tell when coil springs are worn out? Do you think if they are 38 years old that they are worn out? Because I have to decide whether or not to replace them or not.

Re: Worn out springs?
38 years old, they are probably worn out. Also some trucks came with the inline 6's had different springs and swapping a sb would make it sit lower. I think LMC has some measurements and I believe it should be 2" lower in the front. I believe 34 front 36 rear. Somebody correct me if I am wrong.

Re: Worn out springs?
Will coil over shocks really compensate for worn out springs? If so where are some good places to get coil over shocks?
