WIW??? 68' Wood floor bed???

I have a 68' long bed with the optioned wood floor. It need a complete resto but all the pieces are there. The bedsides to me look pretty smashed and farm abused. The tailgate is already spoken for. I looked underneath and all the supports are there for the wood floor. I am going to sell this or give it away and would will to know what a fair "deal" price is???

Thanks

Alex

Re: WIW??? 68' Wood floor bed???

well, I paid $120 for all the cross sills and rear sill for a wood floor, front bed panel is usually worth $50-$75

I would say $200 is a decent price?

I would be interested in the muffler guard that screwed into the underside of the wood floor above the mufrfler.

Re: WIW??? 68' Wood floor bed???

Wood Floor stuff, I'm definately interested!

The cross sils (7) i think 3 big and 4 small ones, Rear cross support (below tailgate) if it's clean and any other floor supports!

Can you post some pics of the top and under the bed......

Re: WIW??? 68' Wood floor bed???

All the cross sills are there the rear sill is in good shape, the front part of the bed is rotted from dirt over the years. The rest is just surface rust.

Re: WIW??? 68' Wood floor bed???

thanks... all I need is the inner piece cut so that I could cut my bad parts out and weld in yours.... The arch part should come off the outer wheel arch.

Re: WIW??? 68' Wood floor bed???

Is it possible to cut this part out of both sides? torch would work.... if you left a few inches from the wheel well bolt holes then I could patch it in...

Re: WIW??? 68' Wood floor bed???

OK...I'll see if I can do this for you. Give me a day or two. I'm taking the whole bed off first and then I will flip it over and see if I can cut that part out for you.
