A customer dropped off this hood for some rust repair....seems like a common problem, but what do I know....I'm a 60-66 guy !!!!

Anyway, here are some pics to share, for the hell of it !!!

(In the background is the "Project Z069" BTW)

It was rusty in the exact same spot on both sides.....right at the bottom of the corners , where all the crap collects between the skin and the brace...

I found some material that worked out great.....

I had some left over 3 1/2" galvinized exhaust pipe left over from a diesel mod, and found the radius was dam near perfect !!!
