Any one used a programer on 99+ 4.3
Hi everyone. I am wandering if anyone ever used a programer on a 99+ 4.3l automatic. I have one in one of my vans, yeah I know it is a van but uses same drive train, and thought about getting one to see if it would help it get a little better performance, shifting and milleage. I am not expecting v8 performance just maybe better power use and milleage. Just would like to here fellow members observations and experiances. Thanks in advance.

Re: Any one used a programer on 99+ 4.3
I ran the Hypertech III programmer on my 2000 5.3l GMC for about 100K miles without issue, your 4.3l should do the same
![]() Honestly, unless you plan to adjust your programming yourself, your money is better spent on a custom tuned PCM from a place like www.wait4meperformance.com (where I have mine) and you will see better results ![]() |
