Fender Differences?
I have a '72 Jimmy in the shop for some work, when trying to fit the fender eyebrows, I noticed that the fenders are different.
stock ![]() Replacement ![]() the aftermarket fender is the one the eyebrow doesn't fit on. I'm curious what this fender is for? Thanks. |

Re: Fender Differences?
67-68 Cvevrolet and 67-72 GMC's used the fender you need.

Re: Fender Differences?
Thanks, any chance the eyebrow for the 69-72 fender will mesh with the GMC grill?

Re: Fender Differences?
Nope. 69-72 Chevrolet's never had an eyebrow molding. The fender was contured for the outer grill to sit flush against the hood and fender.

Re: Fender Differences?
Yeah, you actually need a 68 chevy fender or a 68-72 GMC fender, as the 67's had no side marker light. On the bright side that is a popular fender to crunch and lots of 69-72 guys here, sell it and buy the 68-72 GMC/68 chevy replacement fender.

Re: Fender Differences?
That's a good idea, I'll have to try and talk the owner into that.
