New in Texas
Hi guys and gals. I bought my 14 year old son a 1967 C10 shortwide last Friday. It has a 250ci engine and a 4 speed. It also has manual steering, brakes and no A/C. This is our project to work on till he gets his driving permit. He had a choice between the 67 and a newer Silverado and he chose wisely. I am looking forward to soaking up some of your knowledge and turning this into a truck he will never sell.Thanks

Thanks guys. I have already enjoyed my time here. There are just not enough hours in a day to ingest all the info and knowledge you guys have to offer. I will be depending on this forum for alot of help when we get started on my sons truck. We are hitting the local salvage yards tomorrow hoping to find a gem or two that has been passed over. Not really expecting to find much, just spending time with the boy.
