low budget power windows '66 c10 truck
I have been working on this off and on the only problem i have is I feel the motor is too fast. I used the stock window regulators, and window motors from a 99-03 chevy astro. I made a simple mounting plate. Gears line up, and it works. Will load pics if anyone interested.

Yes pictures. I wonder if you can run resisters or something to slow it down.

Funny you should mention Bueller. That's what I named my truck when I brought it home.

I guess the budget was so low, there was no money left for digital photos...I hope to see some soon.

Re: low budget power windows '66 c10 truck
I finally posted some pictures. I was having trouble with file size. This is just the first stage. I have not done anything in a while. Still very rough, but it did work just a speed problem. I first bolted the arms together, to drill out the rivets for the rivets for the spring. I had to make an extension piece to mount the regulator. Used washers to space properly. |
