Front wiring harness question...

Ok, so I've finally decided to clean up my front wiring harness, and I've come across a wire that doesn't seem to have a connection.

There's a white fiber-wrapped wire that is contained in the front wiring harness under the hood lip above the firewall. It runs to a junction block on the firewall under the brake booster. From there it travels along the top of the firewall and near the passenger side of the firewall it splits into two yellow wires. Yellow wire goes to the + side of the coil, while the other yellow wire traveled down toward the transmission, but is disconnected, broke, dirty, and doesn't look like it's been connected to anything for a while.

I have no idea where it should go. My detent switch for my 400 is connected and on the right circuit, so that's not it. Anyone know?
