Hello from AZ

Hello all, coming to you from Scottsdale AZ, my 14yr daughter decided she wanted 56 Chevy step side for her first ride. The only way I know she'll appreciate it is if she re-builds one, so she found one on craigslist and I surprised her with it. Last weekend we pull the front, motor and bed. This weekend we'll pull the Cab and power wash the Frame. We're thinking IFS, Disk brakes, power steering and AC. Maybe drop it 2" and the rest mostly stock. We're open for any input; this is out first re-build, ever. Looking forward to it.

Semper Fi

Mario

Very cool Dad! We are doing the same with our kids. Having them help you build the truck and have their sweat n tears in it, will give a great respect to it. Not to mention the kickass bonding time.

Welcome to the site
