grant steering wheel
i installed a grant steering wheel in my 70 non-tilt c-10. the problem is the upper bearing will not stay seated. i can move the column at least an inch or two with the new wheel installed. the old steering wheel looks like it fit flush against the bearing, thus keeping it seated. is there a spring kit i need to get to keep tension on the bearing. there was not a spring when i removed the old steering wheel. please post pics

I would contact the grant steering wheel company and ask them. FWIW, my upper bearing is pressed in real tight.

nevermind, it works better when u use the spacer off the stock wheel

the spacer, or turn signal cancel slip ring, is the part that the bearings ride on.
