Wishing i had my old blazer back
Hi everyone: I used to have a sweet 71 cst Blazer that I sold aprox. 2 years ago. I sold it for 18k which was top dollar before the recession. Now I am married and have a son. I am currently looking for another Blazer, but you know the story, the budget for one is alot less than 18 grand. I can spend between 5-10k and still keep my wife happy. I would like something stock and rust free, is it do-able on this budget?

Re: Wishing i had my old blazer back
Might find something pretty nice for 10 but rust free not needing a lot of work, I'll buy another one for 5 if its out there. Good luck. I did the same thing, took me ten years to get another one.

You should be able to find something fairly nice for $10K.

Being on the west coast, you've got a great chance of finding a good one within reasonable distance from you. Finding something completely stock and rust free may as well be a fantasy these days. Having the cash in hand ready to make an offer when the right one comes along is the biggest benefit you can have IMO. Welcome back! |

Re: Wishing i had my old blazer back
Are you looking for an unmolested survivor or a nice driver that somebody has already "repaired" the trouble areas? I think either is possible for $10K, like VT said, you are in the right part of the world for that sort of thing. Just comes down to being in the right place at the right time.
