I had seen that once before somewhere, crazy stuff. That guy was a couple inches from death for sure. How does a riccocet even come straight back the way it came?

It hit the ground right in front of him and then bounced up and hit him. You can see the dust fly a couple feet in front of the table. Could probably shoot 1000x and never get that to happen again.

Re: i hate when that happens

I only seen half of the new one last night and they were testing something about a bullet ricoceting off 3 different surfaces then killing someone, thats all I know of.

Re: i hate when that happens

myth busted....would have to see more...one could use time to calculate speed from fire to person sitting....the bullet leaving the barrel is a known(50 cal) so if we knew how far the target was away we could figure out of the time when the bullet hit the target then subract that time from the total...then start figuring speed...(lets see, 60 mph would be 5280 ft per minute so if the 50 cal goes 900 ft per sec out the muzzle....)

no kidding

I never understood shooting in a gravel pit or using rocks as a backstop, a dirt berm I could see, but for all those that shoot at rocks I'm suprised this type of thing doesn't happen more often.
