68 GMC grill on a 72
I am sure this question has been asked before but will a 68 GMC grill work on a 72? I have a friend that bought a 72 blazer and it needs a new grill, I have a 68 grill that I was willing to sell him but did not think it would work.
I see when you order a new one from LMC etc. they call out 67-68 and then 69-72, so I am assuming they are different.

Re: 68 GMC grill on a 72
If the 72 was a gmc, yes. a chevy no. gmc trucks had a different core support due to the 2 headlights. they were the same from 67-72 67 chevy and gmc fenders are the same as are 68 gmc used the same fenders from 68-72 and chevy had the same from 69-72 but they arent the same as gmc fenders.

Re: 68 GMC grill on a 72
in a nutshell, you'd need the whole front clip to make that grill work.
