I thought this thread may be about DP going back to using sugar instead of fructose. They are SO MUCH BETTER with sugar.

I tried DP with some Italian dressing on butterflied rib eyes this weekend. Yummy.

I'm going to have to work that into my cooking schedule.
I've used Dr. Pepper when "beer canning" chicken & it turned out pretty good.

Only place that still uses real sugar in Dr Pepper is in Dublin ,Texas. They have been using it since day 1. And yes, it is better.

No longer true. They're doing that "throwback" thing with the Dr. Pepper as well as the Mt. Dew and Pepsi. I can get the Dr. Pepper with real sugar now, and it's fantastic.

As a side note, I'm gonna try this recipe, and also use Dr. Pepper with my beer can chickens, never tried that....
