Do you need to change plugs when converting to HEI?
I was just curious if you can use the same plugs (part #) in a 250l when converting to HEI or do you need to change them out? What plugs would you recomm if I want to change them out? Thanks Brandon

I'd just re gap them, since the electronic ignitions require a bigger gap most of the time.

.045 plug gap for HEI is recommended.

Yep, but there is never a bad time for new plugs

Yup, same plugs, .035 with points, .045 with HEI.

Re: Do you need to change plugs when converting to HEI?
I concur. I just changed mine over to HEI. I could have used my old plugs, but used the opportunity to put new ones in (along with new plug wires). I just made sure I adjusted the gaps.
