Re: clean firewall/msd box
I cleaned my firewall with a paint stripper a putty knife and then I painted it. I had wires mounted on the firewall with clips. I mounted my msd box on the passenger side fire wall right next to the ac unit.

Re: clean firewall/msd box
Where did you run the wires that where on the top of the fire wall going across?

Re: clean firewall/msd box
Various places. Some went down and under the core support, others are hidden behind the crossmember. Look at where the wires are going and determine a less visable route.

pic... that bundle of wires on the fender well are for the headlights. they will be routed through the fender to the core support and under the radiator. excuse the dust

Re: clean firewall/msd box
I always hide the msd boxes under the dashboard when I install them.
