Need Power Window Help in Lynnwood Washington
Hi All,
My drivers window does not work at all. I'm hoping it is just a switch and am trying to source a vendor to replace it. The passenger side only rolled down really slowly at least until I broke switch by pressing on it too hard to get it to go faster. I opened up the passenger door and found very little room to work. I sprayed some WD40 hoping maybe it just needed that. It did not help. The fuzzy guides seem awfully crimped and tight around that passenger window, so I'm sure that does not help. The motor worked but do those get less power as they get older? I'm not sure I have the experience, effort and energy to fix the fuzzy guide or install a new motor. I think I will only be able to do the switches myself and then give a new report. I want to fix this up for myself and my son to drive. At the end of the day, I need help. This is an all original survivor and belonged to my Dad. I really need some help in Lynnwood Washington or near from someone who can help me work on this and get it working good enough so I don't have to swing the door open at a fast food restaurant to get the food or to drop off mail etc. etc. Plus, I'm sure that isn't cool looking (son). Allright, if you know of a good guy with that kind of experience in my area and who can help please let me know. Thanks all, John ![]() |
