Update on my "Nasty' neighbors!
that dont have their roof sealed off. The soffit has been missing for the past two years and they have pigeons living in it. And a couple weeks ago, I had a bed bug on my hand from planting tulip bulbs on the side of my house next to their driveway. So, I had to deal with bed bugs in MY house from just standing outside and bringing them in. I have had my house treated twice and have learned enough about treatment that I am confident we wont have them any more.
Well, last night they set out their mattresses, three of them and box springs along with lots of clothes and miscellaneous junk. I call it junk because they rarely put the garbage into trash cans, usually they throw the bags outside and their dogs rip it to shreds resulting in me having to pick up the trash that blows into my yard and up against my fence. The city Health Department came and inspected the roof initially and they have one week to finish the small roofing repairs. Its not like they cant afford to do it , they are just lazy. Tell you what , it' s NOT something you want to have to deal with. I am glad that I had the insight to look at what was happening in my home and hope i dont have to deal with it again, but if I do I know what to look for and what to do. Yuck!
