Hazard Lights staying on when I push the Brakes

I have a 1998 K1500 5.7, I have had a problem when I have my hazard lights on and I push the brakes they quit flashing and stay on. Yesterday I hauled a care for my brother and when I turned my lights on some how it lit up my trailer brake controller like it was applying the brakes, then when I turned my flashers on at the same time the light on the controller would flash with the flashers.

But unhooked from the trailer my hazard lights still act up and I unhooked my trailer brake controller and the lights did the same thing, I pulled the brake switch off the pedal and replace it and can't see any visible shorts yet.
