carb sizing help?? suggestions

I have a small block 350 in my 67 truck. I am not sure the history of the motor. I was told it was rebuilt. I am currently installing Edlebroke RPM performer intake and also putting some Headman headers. I am unsure if I am going to put a small came in it. Anyway here is my question. It currently has a edelbrock performer carb 650cfm with manual choke. Anyway a guy at work has a 750 edelbrock electric choke carb that is on a 305 ford. He says its to steep for his car and wants to trade even.

My question is a 750 going to be to much for my truck? I dont plan to do a ton of mods to it but some mild bolt on type stuff.

Can some of you guys that know motors point me in the right direction? I was planning on just buying a electric choke for my carb but this way it might be better for me all the around. I just dont want to end up with a carb that is to big for my truck.

Thanks in advance.
