Engine overheated.

Well, today the engine "sort of" overheated on my '72 C20. I was driving when I heard a weird sound, like the engine was struggling and I smelled coolant. So I immediately pulled over. Only a little bit of smoke was coming out. So hopefully I didn't do much damage. The pictures with the circles are where I see coolant leaking from. I towed her home, poured coolant in and from the circled areas the coolant just leaks out.

Also, my hand is lifting up a gasket or something, could that be the main cause? In the picture with the hose, that's a new hose, it just has protecting around it, there are these little black flakes, what do you think those are from?
