How I deal with people who can not park.

This morning at my school I had to deal with this clown to get a parking space.

I left him a little note.

Re: How I deal with people who can not park.

The other phenomenon I've noticed is that anybody who owns one of the few manual transmissions left can't drive it. Wranglers, Miatas, and Mini Coopers seem attract these people. Usually they are failing to find 1st gear or take their foot off the brake through an entire left turn light, then about the time they get in gear and stop burning the clutch they have just enough time to rocket through the yellow light while I'm stuck at red

Re: How I deal with people who can not park.

I hate when I go to pull into a parking space and a little car has parked two feet over the line into my space. Like, seriously, my truck doesn't fit into a whole parking spot anyway, it takes up half the isle when I'm two feet short. Drives me nuts. The crooked parking doesn't bother me though, I just park within inches of thier door so there's no way in hell they can get it, and hope it'll teach them a lesson.

Re: How I deal with people who can not park.

The Mustang driver is an idiot. They have a prime no door ding space, the end one. In that position I hug that concrete curb as much as I can. Gives me an extra foot or two on the drivers side so I don't get door dinged. This person is just pissing people off and will likely get door dinged or keyed on purpose.

If you don't want door dings, don't drive your car.

Re: How I deal with people who can not park.

I will admit, my first reaction was to pull out my cordless drill and flatten their tires, but I felt the note would probably get me in far less trouble.

Considering I was driving my crew cab dually

Getting in that space was a pita, and so was getting out of the truck, I try to park against the curbs backed in so idiots will be less likely to hit my dually fenders.

Even with that clown there I still managed to get in the spot centered backed all the way in.

Re: How I deal with people who can not park.

I had a lady cuss me at Walmart one day for parking too close to her vehicle. She was trying to get in the passenger side of her vehicle, which of course was hugging the line. I pulled in next to their car in the middle of my space. I had to point out to her that her idiot husband was the one that parked too close to the line on the passenger side and to cuss at him, not me. I was the one who parked correctly.

OP,I would have pulled in forward just right to block them with a dually fender.Take their Tag # so you can report it,since they'll have damage also.

Re: How I deal with people who can not park.

I don't really worry about the paint on mine anymore so I just pull in as close as I can. Back in high school me and another friend pulled in super close to both sides of a third friends camaro so he had to get in through the hatch

Oh and this is always fun when I'm in philly

You think just like me "prime no door ding space". My wife will even text me pics from her phone when she gets a parking space that I'd approve of. Haha!

Am I the only one that is baffled at the fact that he had the ability to print this up in his truck? Or perhaps he went in, printed it and carried it back out

Re: How I deal with people who can not park.

This is how I used to deal with people who could not park.

This one wasn't an impound, it was a friends 7.3 powerstroke that gave up the ghost on the back of my 94 3500HD with 400K miles on it. 6.5 was still getting it done.

Re: How I deal with people who can not park.

I live in an area with a lot of BMW's, audi's, benz's etc. I'ts like a dream come true when I just happen to be in my travelall ( the one below) and an opportunity presents itself for some "parking lot etiquette education"
My wife's daily is a burb, I also have a CCDRW and half of the slots around town Either will barely fit in, so I can relate with SUV's and trucks being tight on the line. people with small cars ( my daily is a maxima) that park all over the place and people that INTENTIONALLY OCCUPY TWO SPACES near the front with thier benz or whatever, cuz thier to dang lazy to park in the north 40 to avoid dings, are just begging me to "educate them". My 55 dodge wagon has nice paint. I don't want it dinged or scratched. I park way the heck away from anyone else and walk. It's that easy.

Pretty sure it was a factory option. I'll look around my files to see if I have the SPID code...

I have done that too, but I take a picture showing how poorly they parked that shows their tag.

Re: How I deal with people who can not park.

My peeve is the buttheads who pull up in the loading area at Lowes and Home Depot to park and go in. Meanwhile, the place is plugged up for those who already made their purchase and need to...uh,LOAD! What a bunch of wussies. How can you go about building things when you can't even walk from the parking lot to the door? I always leave my cart up against their bumper so they have to move it. I had a guy pull up right in front of my cart (eve backed up to it like I was going to do) while I was getting my truck. I pulled up and asked how the heck I'm supposed to load my stuff and he gave me a bunch of lip. I suggested it would be easier on him to move the truck than for me to get out and show him why he'd rather move it. After a lot more lip he moved it. I also called the number on the truck and left a message with his boss. Handicap people have to walk/wheel farther than these guys. That's pretty pathetic on their part. I've left notes pointing that fact out and have been meaning to get some printed up. One Lowes I go to enforces the "no parking loading zone". First of all,it's posted . They have a sign on a post with a wheel for a base sitting in the center of the two lanes. I've been told they've had people towed and that's more like it.

Funny what happens when they start towing people, at first people scream yell holler and jump up and down. Then they quit parking there.
