First of all, I am beyond blown away by the builds that I've seen here. I ran across the forum about a month ago and have been drooling, probably literally at times, at what you all have accomplished. I have a '72 Cheyenne that has lived its entire life in Georgia. At some point during the '80s or very early '90s it got parked (or possibly buried) under a pine tree. The effects of the pine tar and humidity on the body was incredible; by the time I got it, the tin worm had claimed the entire bed, both front fenders, passenger inner fender, core support, cab corners, inner and outer rockers, kick panels and drip rails.
![]() My goal originally and still is to have a cool old truck that I can enjoy and pass down to my kids. There have been several hiatuses to the project as life got in the way but I am now starting to see some light at the end of the tunnel. The rust has now been defeated (temporarily, of course) ![]() It probably also proves that accountants shouldn't be allowed to own mig welders but that's another thread for another time. https://picasaweb.google.com/1182018...monRestoration I hope you enjoy - or at least get some laughs. Any and all suggestions are certainly welcome! David (aka Bean Counter) |

Re: The Lemon
The pics look great. Nice progress on the rust repair. And WELCOME to the forum.
