Picked these up off a Blazer (rust bucket, the hooks were more valuable than the truck) for $150 and I'm gonna spray 'em black for my '72 Jimmy. But, are these the extreme bends or what?

Re: ID these tow hooks?
Those aren't the '72 only extreme bend hooks. At first glance I thought they were the rear tow hooks, but I believe the rear hooks have three mounting holes and not two like those.
Where were these mounted? Here are a set of the extreme bend hooks.

Re: ID these tow hooks?
These were mounted to the front frame of a '72 blazer. Had to take a torch to the bolts to get them off!

Re: ID these tow hooks?
Those are fairly common used on big trucks and busses. If you go to the FAQ and look for tow hooks, you will find a thread i have on how to ID them.

So was $150 too much?

Re: ID these tow hooks?
Probably, but you live and learn right? Factory-style rear tow hooks have been selling on this board for $65 - $100 per pair in the last year. Those are the ones similar to yours but with the correct three bolt holes instead of two.

Re: ID these tow hooks?
Ummm, yes. Just call it a life lesson and they will still look good on your blazer.
