well I took out the new mallory which would not run at 10 btdc,ran good at 32 atdc whith the advance timing light set at 10.Put in my old hei with the mallory cap and coil and just fine, 10 btdc timing mark.But why would the mallory do that,could the mech advance be too weak and advancing at 800 rpms?I just need to know what is wrong,it will bug me until I know and no one here has a dist machine
