year of truck?
I recently purchased a '70 blazer with understanding it was a '69. The grill is.the '69 but.the dmv papers say 70. Can I find out more details on wether this is a late model 69 by the vehicle id number from the factory

Re: year of truck?
You can tell by the vin number.
http://67-72chevytrucks.com/Chevyear.html The 69 and 70 grilles are very similar. If the inner grille had to be replaced on a 70 it would most likely get a 69 grille as they don't repro 70 inners.
