power steering issue
well...ever since ive had my 68 the power steering has been pretty much non existant..finally gettin tired enough to fix it...it doesnt make any noises and doesnt have any leaks..its just very very weak power steering...pretty much like theres no power steering at all....will a pump change remedy this loss of power?

It could be either the pump or the gearbox. Both contain a lot of seals and internal parts that could be worn. I bought a pump at Auto Zone some years back and still works good.
If you go the pump route be sure and keep your old one until you swap pulleys and make sure the new one works. http://www.autozone.com/autozone/par...Pump/_/N-8oxk0 |

Does your '68 have the power assist steering or does it have the integral power steering box?
