Re: rear tire size suggestions needed
Not sure how wide, but on my '72 C-10, I have 235/75R/15's on the Front and 265/75R/15's on the Rear. Both are the same brand and the same style. Not only do I like the look of it, but it mainly serves the purpose of knocking down my 3.73 Gears. Right now it's more like I got "3.63" gears.

The width of the rims and their back spacing will be more important than the diameter of the rims.

Re: rear tire size suggestions needed
I had 295/50/15 with 15 x 10 wheels on mine and they fit fine as long as I didn't air it out.

Re: rear tire size suggestions needed
I'm looking at 275/60-15 in back and 235/70-15 for the fronts - same height (28") but a little extra meat out back. Both fit on an 8" rim.
The 295 is shorter - the 285/70 would give you extra height over the 275. |
