Restored Black Seatbelt Console

Here is a console that I took apart and completly restored. All cracks were properly repaired and and any large nicks and scratches were addressed. I painted the it with a hammered-textured plastic paint as a base coat to blend the grain into any repaired areas. Then it was recoated with a semi-gloss black. It has a new chrome ashtray bezel with correct recessed areas around the ashtray and rounded edges on each of the seatbelt holders. The chrome trim ring is pretty nice. I'd rate it a 7.5 out of 10. The ashtray is pretty good for a driver. It has never had a cigarette put out in it. The blue emblem has original paint. It does not have any pits, but it's not perferct. I am guessing that shipping will be around $30 average in in lower 50 states. This console is very solid and would go well in a daily driver or weekend shows. Not for a real show truck, but very presentable nonetheless. $300 shipped If you have shoulder belts in your truck, I'll throw in a pair of NOS shoulder retainers for an additional $25.

Re: Restored Black Seatbelt Console

Nice job Richard. I'm debating on putting a original one in my blazer or a cup style one to hold my Dr. Pepper I have 2 originals but need to find someone to re do them.

Thanks, Sharpie. I was going to put all of the NOS console parts on this one that I picked up a few weeks ago, but the parts on this one were good enough already. I just like buying NOS parts, I guess.

Thank you, Randy. If your blazer is going to be used to get around in, I'd go with the cup holder console, and keep the original one just in case you change your mind. You wouldn't want a DP on the floor I know...I dropped a 32 oz. soda in my 65 Plymouth after I redid the interior.

wow. that's sweet. I'd be all over it if I hadn't just shelled out close to that amount for a very average one on Ipay.

Re: Restored Black Seatbelt Console

Yes, it will fit in your Blazer. All consoles are the same. You may need to find a mounting bracket...I am not sure, though.
