Suspension needed in c10 with 454
I am about to drop a 454 into my c10 (which has an in-line 6 in it now). It has the original slushy coils and feels more like a boat ride than pavement cruiser! Just wondering if you guys have any suggestions for what would be best to instal considering the added weight of the 454. I am looking for a more solid ride all around. Thanks for any suggestions.

That depends on the ride height your looking for. If your going to replace the springs you can opt for cutting a coil and see if that firms it up to your satisfaction. Beyond that you can replace the stock spring with a BB coil, or go with an aftermerket lowering spring.
