I think i have solved my starting problem.
I have been having starting problems with my 72.It dosnt start using the key switch i had put in a push button just to start it.First i rewired the wire from the hei to the fusebox. This didnt fix it.Bypassed the nss.Still just a click sometimes the motor would barely turn over.Cleaned up the wires at the juction block on the fender nothing. So decieded to replace the connector behind the key switch. With the new plug on and my switch still off i made a jumper wire.Put one end in the purple then started to plug into the other ones until it started turning over.I do believe it was the red wire.It turned over fast better than when i first got it.So im realy happy thinking i fixed my problem plugged the key switch in put my screw driver in there to start it and just a click like before! So would my problem be in this switch? The switch is only about two years old.
