Re: Door bumpers
Jake:
On my '66 parts truck there is one hole drilled just above the door handle and one is drilled just below the door handle. I hope that this image sheds some light on the subject. |

Re: Door bumpers
From what I can tell in the assembly manual they are supposed to go to the upper back corner and lower rear corner of the cab inset, but the book does not give any measurments I think they were different for the 1960 model vs. the 64-66 cabs?
Thanks Jake

Re: Door bumpers
Hate to resurect an old thread but my 63 does not have any door bumpers or any holes (that I can see) where they would go. Did some models not have these? I have a hard time beliving they were filled in.

Re: Door bumpers
I can get some pics tonight of the rubber bumpers on the 61 doors/cab that I have. They have been filled in on my 63.

Re: Door bumpers
Pics would be great! Should I not worry about replacing them if the hols have been filled?

Re: Door bumpers
Same here - no holes but no obvious signs of being filled..?
