New truck for me.

Hey guys. Just grabbed myself a '69 shortbed with the intention to build it up and take it on Power Tour 2013. I've had 4 other Chevy trucks, a '66 Chevy, '72 GMC, and 2 '02 Silverados. This one's getting a full going over, but more on the cheap for now... gotta small budget but kinda figure out how to make it work. Gonna do a 3/5 static drop, power steering and disc conversion on the front, slap a 350 and a 700R4 (or TH350 if I can't afford the 700R4 swap after everything else is done!) in it, and then clean up the interior. I have until May to finish it... 9 months... gonna be close! I'll start a build thread and post pics once the truck is in the garage.

Can't wait to get started.
