Little wheel help

Can you put this rear wheel on my truck please. Its 20" and I would like to just set it up there with the same tire, just to see what it will look like with 20's. Does that make sense? Thank you!

Re: Little wheel help

It does make sense, It just wont work.

Find an image of that wheel on a tire and then get an image of your truck matching the same profile of the picture you find.

Otherwise it will look really bad....... like this.

Re: Little wheel help

Besides that is a lousy angle to put a rear wheel on anyway. You can't see the center of the wheel at all.

Re: Little wheel help

Better.

You can still see that the angle is a little off.

Re: Little wheel help

what kind of rim is that? I'll find a pic and make them 20's. Changing the angle of the rims isn't a huge deal depending on the pic, but it's easier to have a pic of them on a car or truck so you don't see cardboard between the spokes.

Re: Little wheel help

It doesn't have to be that exact wheel I was just thinking of going to a 20x15 in the rear and wanted to see what it looks like. I like the pro street look, but like the big wheels too

Re: Little wheel help

Gotcha, I see. Same size up front, but a 20 in the back right? Yeah that's no problem at all. If I'm going to do it though you might as well pick a rim you like really like right haha

Re: Little wheel help

Now, the last time I did this, I cost you $5K.

I can't right now, but I will do up some options for you when I get home. CS5.5 will let you change the perspectives of the wheels and stuff. .. no problem.

Is the 20" rally what you really want ? Any other billets, or 20" wheels you like?

I think it looks sick with the Convo Pros, (Warriors? I forget the name of that wheel) but stuffing it with some 20/22s it would be incredible. How wide are your rear tires now? How much room to we have to work? How wide are the tubs? Could you cram a 22x12 under there?

Re: Little wheel help

You could easily do this and really sit it down on the tires.

I'm using CS2 so have not kept up to date with the new technology.

How does 5.5 allow you to change perspective?

Re: Little wheel help

I think this started in v3 (?) Not sure. It might even work in CS2.

Re: Little wheel help

CC69, that is exactly what i was going to do. Do you know if the inside of the outer bed side needs to be trimmes to get a 20x15 wheel in there? That is my only delima for not ordering yet

Re: Little wheel help

Thought your truck was tubbed (?) In that case, I really couldn't tell you ('cause I don't know your truck measurements specifically ) Rear end length, inner tub width, if the frame rails have been moved inboard, etc..

I would assume if it's not tubbed now, it would likely need to be. the biggest I have ever seen in a stock wheel tub is a 305 (if I recall?) That's a big ole tire... right at 12in wide.

From the pics it looks like your truck is tubbed a bit. I just can't tell how much.

Re: Little wheel help

It is tubbed. I can get them to fit but i dont want them sitting way under the truck. I think they need to br closer to the outer bed side
