Painting control arms
Well i finally got my Porterbuilt control arms in after 8 weeks(still waiting for my sway bar)
Well its time to paint them, everyone i ask tells me to just spray paint them, just give them a few coats, havent had a chance to go to any paint shops, will spray paint works

Spray paint will work. But if you've got the cash to buy porterbuild control arms you can probably afford to have them powdercoated. Powdercoating them would be good. Tough and looks good.

I was looking at powder, but can't seem to find any shops locally, I tried Google but can find one local

Well i got my arms back today, cant believe how cheap it is to powder coat, I went to shop to get a quote about painting the arms black and they said it would run $250, went to alamo powder coating and it was $125, half price

I find it hard to understand that Porterbuilt doesn't supply them powdercoated.
Around here powder coaters usually have a min $65.00 charge. |
