Re: stepside bed diffrence
Same concept, no marker light hole. DOT(?) Mandate in 68+ model year .. and the 67 stuff is a little harder to find in my limited experience.

Re: stepside bed diffrence
I have a 67 stepside bed that someone cut holes in for marker lights. I was looking at using it on a 71 and doing the openings right and it would require finding some donor stepside fender and cutting around the marker hole about 1" or so. Its hard to explain and I dont have any photos, but the fender is slanted vertically and the maker hole is stamped to stick out more at the rear than the front. Changing a 68-72 to 67 would require cutting the marker hole out and welding in a patch, not merely welding in a filler piece like on a fleetside. I have a 67 bed for sale, or fenders only, but its all in central Texas.
